Okay, so if you are doing your coupon blogging you may have heard of this:
And sadly, it seems to be the only sign of life out there on the internet about the up and coming bakeware set. I have done this deal at Giant Eagle for 2 years in a row now and it's an awesome deal! All over the internet there is buzz about what stores are participating and the best deals at which store, but the truth is it's all speculation at this point! Yes, the deal has "started." But today is not the day to run out to the first store you find and buy $25 worth of P&G items and expect to get this sent to you free. Retailers are not oblivious to this amazing deal, Giant Eagle WILL have a P&G sale to go along with this. Actually, upon stalking there sight today I found this:
Now I realize this photo is tiny and very vague but the ad behind this weeks ad looks a little "pink" to me and I'm not 100% sure (can't find my glasses) but that looks like Tide in the upper right hand corner. So my best educated guess would be that Giant Eagle will be running a pretty spectacular P&G sale starting Thursday, October 13th through Wednesday, October 19th. So this week, I will call the "planning" stage. I would definitely seek out all your P&G product coupons. Next Tuesday (providing no kid crisis occurs) I will be updating you with a list of match-ups at Giant Eagle for this deal. The total is $25.00 before coupons. If this year is anything like last year, you will want to get your hands on as many 75 cents off P&G coupons you can find. Previously, I have purchased Mr. Clean floor cleaners and spray surface cleaners. These are usually on sale during the promotion for $2.50 each, after the 75 cents off coupon from the older Home Made Simple booklets and sometimes the news-paper inserts, these are $1.00 after coupon. So if you buy ten, it's $25.00 before coupons (for the cookware rebate) and $10.00 out of pocket for 10 cleaners and a bakeware set shipped to your house. In the past, the register has printed a catalina rebate that you send in with your receipt! So start saving your coupons!
