This evening, I will have the first coupon class of the season. It's at Mentor's Wildwood Center from 7-9pm. I have eight registered participants so far. I ran out this morning and did two quick shops, one at Giant Eagle and one at Target just to show a VERY current and good deal. So let's just get to my deals this beautiful Thursday:
Giant Eagle
For this Giant Eagle deal, the price that the average consumer would have paid using their Giant Eagle Advantage card and NO coupons would have been $33.50 plus tax. I paid out of my pocket 15.05 plus tax, for a savings of 55%! Not too shabby! The 7 pack of Lever was $2.50 after coupon, and although I don't consider this a "stock up" price when you need soap, you need soap. Also, setting aside the coupon and sale, the Lever would have been $5.39 so I still saved 53.6%.
Target
Target's total without coupons would have been $17.41. I paid 12.82 out of pocket but if you look towards the top of the photo you will see Kuereg K-cups which were normally $11.99 on clearance for $5.98! So if I count clearance savings on the K-cups and Wet Ones (.67 cents instead of .97) it adds up to $6.61 for a total savings of $11.20 or 46.6%. Not too shabby since there is hardly ever a deal on K-cups!
So there's the breakdowns of my deals today. If you see something you are interested in saving on, comment or send me a message and I will give you the individual break down!
